Things like this can be avoided by test fitting all the pieces together before you leave the hardware store. :D I would have, but Canadian Tire packages everything so you can't "tamper" with it :x

Any way, Igot new barbs with 1/4" MIP (is MIP the same as NTP?)
but now, it only threads 3/4 in ...

I'm working on my first spud gun and have just bought a blowgun and 2
1/4'' hose barbs for connecting the sprinkler valve to the blowgun. My problem is, the barbs are too small for the back of the blowgun. Did i get the wrong type of blowgun or barbs? Or will wrapping the threads with teflon tape ...
