Ignition source

The ignition source is used to ignite the flammable gasses in the chamber of combustion and hybrid cannons. The most common ignition sources include:

• Lantern sparkers
• Piezoelectric BBQ ignitors
• Stun guns
• Camera flash-based ignitions
• Flyback ignitions
• Automotive ignition coils

All of these except the lantern sparker produce an electric spark, and need to be connected to some form of spark gap or spark strip.
