Re: "In the world of spuds today"
Crazy project :o Thinking of assembling a steel bbs launcher, powered by a small jet engine of the compressed air-gas type. Compressed air is not used directly to power the bbs. Before, it is introduced into a combustion chamber that burns the air mixture. butane, continuously, producing a jet of ga...

Re: "In the world of spuds today"
What I think, I mean to evaluate the possibility of this, is to use a superheater to accelerate the propellant fluid more than the pressure of the reservoir can do it for a given pressure. In the tube of an afterburner, the pressure does not increase almost, only the speed of the air energized by te...

Re: "In the world of spuds today"
It goes something like this roughly Afterburner BBMAG.png The gun trigger activates and deactivates the main valve and the ignition simultaneously. The flame holders are for the flame to anchor in that area because if there is not, everything can go out without control. The device only gives more sp...

Re: Agitator for a BBMG
One possibility to organize the bbs and save air, is as follows. The holding oring only releases the bb when it reaches set pressure, and immediately another bb seals the outlet. Sealing time is what it takes a 6mm bb to travel 6mm, aided by the suction of the barrel. The firing frequency is regulat...

Re: Agitator for a BBMG
Interesting concepts shown in the drawings. Which of these did you try? Which one worked best? I am interested in trying to include a tank of bbs to my machine gun, to feed the magazine (s).Here are some very old (2004!) Concept drawings

Re: Unusual Ammo and Barrel Construction
I ordered some parts today, and I think I have a pretty good plan! The Co2 system and 3-way valve have been working well, so the easy part is out of the way. For the barrel, I ordered some rectangular aluminum tubing 5" wide x 2" tall. This should fit most of the bagels I have in mind, and to create...

Re: Rapid Fire Hybrid System
I was working to finalize and test this weapon, I think it was decent, and it shoots very well. I built a stand to store the weapon, and to use it when needed. I just fail to install the open sight, which I am building with the greatest dedication, because the barrel is a jewel, and it is very preci...

Re: .177 and where to buy in euro
Grazie 1000!
Thaks a lot!
I'm looking for some brake lines but in Italy I can't find the rigid and straight ones...
I think I will choose either an airsoft barrel or a precision tube. they are a little more expensive but I think they are much more accurate

Re: Unusual Ammo and Barrel Construction
Update: I no longer know how to post pictures properly, but I’ve made progress on the build https://imgur.com/gallery/PcKwkWa Here’s an album of some detail shots of the barrel. All the parts are printed in ABS, but aren’t holding any significant pressure here. I won’t add the fillets into the barre...

Re: Unusual Ammo and Barrel Construction
Update: it works! I’ll probably make a separate post with some more details, pictures, and videos. Thank you to everyone for the inspiration and ideas, I almost forgot how satisfying a successful launcher is! It’s a simple concept, but somehow so unique and quirky

Re: Caselman air machinegun
I sincerely hope you're getting all the help you need to help yourself and that knowing that your name still echoes in these hallowed pages as teenagers of all ages are in awe of your body of work is of some comfort :) Hi after two years. Re: Caselman air machinegun
My kids are not the issue..the oldest is learning to be a metal worker and a machinist on both the industrial mill and lathe..The truth is I'm recovering from burn-out or breakdown if you will, as a result of an emotionally and psychologically abusive childhood. Basically I'm exhausted..have been fo...

Large hybrid
Hello I have been here before but lost access to my account so I created a new one. I recently decided to get my hybrid up and running again now that I am done with small children and have built myself a workshop. The plan is to get this gun on a stand on a trailer so that it can be aimed and fired ...
