OK, I understand the the chamber to barrel ratio regarded by most people to be the best is 0.7:1 or 0.8:1. However, I was thinking about this...

I made two basic combustions over the weekend, and decided to start making a few more.

The first one:
Chamber: 1 foot of 3 ABS
Barrel: 3.5 feet of 1...

is pvc dwv pipe safe? on the pipe it sais 280 psi but the fitting say nothing. they are both dwv. is it ok to use?

personally, i have used DWV fittings on pneumatics (usually by accident) with no major failures so far, but they are much less safe than pressure...
