I think he meant to fll the piston with foam, not to use as a piston

Then why not just use some of that expanding foam in a can? Like GreatStuff or something. :?:

Edit: For a bumper? You could fold over a short piece of hose and stick that in the back. It would work just as well. Or you could still use expanding foam.

I brobably cause that expanding foam will be wasted by getting played with :D , not so much with the pool noodles.

Not too sure. Generally once it's squashed it doesn't expand back and stays solid....

Just one question: can I use bike tyre tube for a 15mm diaphragm coaxial?

yes, but it would be better to find some thing thicker. if you do it would probably be best to put it between a union. thats my opinion.

Pyro Ninja, it's very likely that it will pop. Use some thick sheet rubber.

If you "obtain" one that fits on a 1987 chevy pick-up, PM me.

kidding.

Edit: We filled up a bottle full of the GreatStuff foam, and when it cured completely, we could squish it and it would form back to its shape. I see no reason not to atleast try using it. It will still after all impart some of the forces contacting the piston's rear and still serve its purpose as a bumper just fine. :)
