How does a pull valve work? can it hold high pressure? do they sell them in hardwares or do you have to make them yourself?

Also can a sharder valve AKA tire valve handle high pressure?

Define 'High Pressures" cause some people will think you mean like 3000+ PSI. the schraders i use are rated to 250 PSI and by pull valve do you mean saftey pop off valve or something else?

300 to 400psi

The pull valve is the pilot valve, instead of using air to open your pilot valve use your finger to pull/open the valve.

are there any sharder valve that can handle 400psi?

Yes. You can order them off of McMaster. They are made of stainless steel and are rated for over 3000psi.
Don't know if you want to spend $40 on a shrader valve though.

Schraders handle high pressure very well. I don't use them anymore as I make my own fill valves but just to be safe I would always put them on an elbow so they weren't pointing right into my eye when aiming a gun. Just in case.

An average schrader can handle 400 psi from my personal experience.
The schraders on my hybrid work fine, just as long as they are in the "closed" posistion when the pressure spikes.

If you take a schrader apart, you'll see that the gaskets and such that take the weight are extremely small, so even at 400 psi they are probably only put under 10-20 pounds of pressure.

That's one thing you just gotta love about small diameter pipe, fittings, and valves.
