To start off, yes I am alive, I've been lurking around spudfiles for a while, I've been pretty busy with high school starting and whatnot.

Anywhoo, I noticed how hi gets to make muchas buenas by making cannons that shoot t-shirts, but how do you see if a school is interested? I'm going to a rich, white high school (in Plano if anyone is interested) so should I just tell my coach I can hook them up with one?

^^If that didn't make any sense, I'm sorry I just spent all evening/night grinding and watching my friend get rejected...twice :lol:

are you talking about me? i dont think so but i just thought i'd ask...

its funny that you make this topic bacause im joining the football team this year and my friend keeps telling me to ask the coach if i can make one for the games. i think i want to get to know the coach better though. i will eventually ask.

i would say something like "ill build you one for the price of the materials, i wont charge for labor" or something like that.
"physics, gravity, and law enforcement are the only things that prevent me from operating at my full potential" - not sure, but i like the quote

you know you are not an engineer if you have to remind yourself "left loosy righty tighty"

Right it wasn't you maybe turbohacker? I always get you two confused. Maybe I need to hit my head with a hammer until something useful comes out.

How about this very simple design;
Image

Unfortunately, I have'nt been able to track down much more info about it. It may be described at http://www.spudfiles.com/spudtech_archi ... hp?t=15112 but it is not clear if it is the same gun and the image links don't work anymore.

Simple design, but the clear PVC barrel is kind of $$$, but really cool.

Anybody know anything more about the gun in the logo above?

intersting, it has DR's soda bottle adapter+sprinkler valve lid.
Btw, I have used them and they work great, but where do I get more?

Well, duh. But all I can find on this gun is the photo in the banner. No post, dimensions etc.

I believe you are right about the DR designed fitting between the soda bottle and the valve. Send DR a note via spudcom and see if he has any. (I think spudcom was going to setup a store for some of DR's custom parts like this bottle adaptor and tap'd and threaded diaphram valve covers.

My ears are burning!! :P

Yes, I have built a few guns for high schools. The only problom is that I have horrible bisnus skills, so I never make any money on them- oh well, its fun.
