thanks will it be able to do the no drill method because of its manual operation fitting on the top?

I understand you're in the UK, why don't you visit the UK spudgun community? They will be in a better position to direct you towards suitable suppliers in your area.

Have a look through here, I think that in the UK you're better off with a QEV that can be used without modification.

that would be good for a copper H.V.P.D. (high velocity potatoe dispencer) but mine will be pvc or abs so im gonn use a sprinkler valve and i just want to kno if it can be modded or not!
