i am going to make my paintaball sniper into a bolt action, how would i seal the barrel and what materials would i need, i am going to make the barrel 3/4" (or nearest mm) so it will slot into a 1" pipe.

ok i would use a bolt from a paintball gun. cuz they seal well and give u extra material in thew back to work with.like groove it for o-rings where it needs to seal the barrel. what gun are u doing this conversion too?

its not a conversion, i'm going to make it into the gun when i build it, so i need a way of sealing the barrel.

here are some things you should know 7/8" drill bits even the flat kind are perfect for cleaning out a 3/4cpvc tee, 3/4 pvc couplers fit around the outside of 3/4" CPVC couplers and tees use a router for the bolt grove, you don't need a perfect oring seal pipe on pipe friction works too

a light one the bolt sleeving into some thing the, rest of that is just tips to help you design

would a 1mm thick o-ring work if i put it inside the pipe and pushed the barrel through it?
