really good quote/phrase here
Appologies for the double post again but I thought of Jack's possible solution of wrapping the barrel in masking tape and glueing it into the chamber and how I could change it to best suit the job.
I thought of something last night that will more then likely work. Because I'm using a compression end cap, I won't need glue because where the nilon ring compresses the copper pipe, is where the masking tape plug will be. It shouldn't have any chance of blowing out because the fitting is well........a compression end cap, and they are rated to 1250psi.
Besides glueing and soldering, I reckon this will be the best option, as Jack said. The only hard part will be making it air tight at that psi and the only thing I'm worried about is crushing the barrel but masking tape at that thickness is pretty absorbant as far as I know.
Cheers guys,
Any feedback or suggestions would be great.
