i'm aussie and yeah next mount will be my birthday so i will have an extra $150 i plan on building my first real spud gun then, this was just a substitute until then.

is pvc as expencive in aus as it is in nz?

take the valve apart and apply some thick engine grease to the innards of it. it worked perfectly well for me so i suggest you try it.

I believe it's not. More expensive then US but cheaper then NZ and the UK

yeah i had a look around the house and found skateboard bearing lube. i'm thinking that might work

Lithium grease and pfte thread seal paste works great. Pile the thread paste on thick. It lubes and seals.
