right now i have nearly 9" of .5" pipe for my meter, seems pretty big, and it would get a little ungodly if i stepped up to a bigger gun. It actually works pretty well since it is regulated, but i have the 2 ball valves with it anyways. Kinda works like a safety, 3 valves between my chamber and the tank. Makes it hard to overfuel as long as you're paying attention and the valves are closed.
