They've got tons of info on metal casting. And even more on furnaces. And by the way, you don't need an air pump. It has something to do with having a venturi. The fuel will come out of a jet, mix with air and propel itself into the chamber. Much like a torch head. The only problem is you need to find carberatuer jets, or small drill bits specifically for drilling gas jets.

Boo yah, success. I cast a solid aluminum golf ball. We have quite sandy soil around here so I sifted it and made a mold. after about 7 tries, presto.

I think you should try to use Fnords way to make a mold. His gives the finished product a much nicer smoother surface.
