This is my latest gun, it's a 1/4" QEV airsoft gun. The air chamber is made out of 3/4" black iron pipe, and the barrels are 5/16, and 1/4 brakeline. I made the gun so I would have something to shoot in the winter when it's too cold for pvc. Enough said, here are some pics.
Here's a video:
Edit: I put up some damage pics, but I've really only taken pictures of tomatoes that I shot, so those are the only damage pics I have.

Edit: I just put up a new video:

Been thanked: 1 time

holy wow. i love the look of this gun. My only complaint is that your chamber is massive overkill. shorten the chamber or make the barrel a hell of a lot longer.

Well, I wanted the chamber long enough to make it feel like a real rifle, but I guess I could make the barrel a bit longer (or block off the stock of the gun).
Edit: The gun shoots around 500 fps (just a guess, haven't ggdt'd that just yet)

Usually 100 psi, because that's as high as my compressor can go, but I'm planning on putting a schrader valve on the gun soon so I can pump it up to 150 manually.

That would be sweet if you could use more pressure. If you used a smaller chamber, a shock pump would be a viable option.

Well, I don't want to take it any higher than 150 psi, since that's what the QEV is rated at.

But still, that would be a reasonable increase.

I'm a little lax about some ratings (but I usually stay within or close to most)- I use a 145 psi QEV at 320, and it holds fine. Quite a poor example to set, but those pressures are great fun.

Well, there are some ratings that should be followed closely (pvc) and some that can be stretched a little (compressor blowguns).

Looks like a realy nice BB gun you have there.

Just a quick question... Did you epoxy the breakeline into the threaded ftting for your barrel? Because I have my barrel attatched realy ghetto-y on my BB gun.

The brakeline has a flared end, and it came with the fitting already on it, so I just attached the threaded fitting to the QEV.
