I was off island last spring and went to a real plumbers supply.
They would sell me any length any size I wanted.I was looking for SDR-21
For GB barrel, got it no problem.
I bought the parts in 6" for a launcher w/no specific plans ,they cut 24" of pipe for me. 24" is way to long but was cheap.
Is it worth putting together? If so what length chamber?
Would you guys make it pneumatic or combustion? Yep that is a propane bottle at left.
Bushing is 3" w/insert to reduce to 2".Image

hot damn, whats the pressure rating on that stuff? why not a '3 barrel co-ax? piloting the thing might be tricky though.

Its easy other than modding the reducer. You wouldn't be able to use that plug though. It's dwv and would get smashed out by the piston.

Grind out the stop on reducer , not so hard.
Clean out is a problem.
Mauler valve and end cap, I might even have one.

Yea definatly do a combustion. I like combustions more(because I dont have a compressor yet and its annoying to have to pump pneumatics up with a hand pump all the time) and this would be a beast with that huge chamber .You could get some serious power out of it

I have made two pneumatics ,1 Qev and 1 modded sprinkler.
Combustion is what I like, made 3 , including L7 gbl.
Mortar sounds like a good idea, 3" barrel...

My general rule is to have no pipe smaller than half of the diameter of the largest pipe (excluding pilot setup). 6" pipe should not be reduced to 2", because it would require a ridiculously long barrel, which would pose other problems. Stick to the 3" barrel.

How the hell are you supposed to glue stuff that big?!
You'd need a paint-roller to get a proper solvent weld.

I'd go with a combustion also, preferably with an excessive number of chamber fans, spark gaps, and a 3" barrel. How much did they charge you for 24" of that stuff?

I can't remember what the price was, it was last spring.
It was'nt much but rating is only 180psi.
Ya putting fans and sparks would be so easy, so much room inside.

hmm is the the threaded plug sch40 as well, what ever you make I think this would call for a 3" barrel, the only chance to make a decent 3" is with some nice sizes like that 6",
I doubt the cap is sch40 so I'd recommend a combustion,

they might be sch40 they have deeper sockets than the ones I have seen

edit: well they do look good enough, with a really good bumper it ought to be okay, my ggdt guesstimate for a pneumatic coaxlie... would empty soda bottles interest you
