New Burst Disk cannon

Cannons powered by pneumatic pressure (compressed gas) using a valve or other release.

Well, this is my new gun i just put together. Right now the paint is drying so no damge yet. this gun is fired by an air tank. So this is how it works i have a gallon carry air tank i just tap in a thread for the blow gun and attach the hose from the carry air tank to the gun when i prress the blow gun the pressure goes in and the disk burst. As you can see i have no union yet. I will get that tomro cuase its christmas today and home depot is closed :( .
The barrel is 1.5 inch and 3 feet long
Chamber is also 1.5 inch.

cool how long does it take to break the burst disk. nice job
At my lemonade stand I used to give the first glass away free and charge five dollars for the second glass. The refill contained the antidote

Yea, looks like black on olive green. The dark pic makes it hard to see the cannon. Move the chairs and lean it against the white wall. The pipe is a off white so it will still be easy to see.

Yea, much better. I bet when the disk breaks it's a heck of a commotion goes on! Hows the anticipation waiting for it to go off? Fun fun.

Well the purpose of this cannon is for the noise :D haha a wana annoy the heck out of my next door neighbor, everyone in the neighborhood hates him anyways.

Well if thats why you built it a spray and pray would be more annoying and way easier. But their all fun! :twisted:

P.S. We want a picture of the police report when they come and write you up. Lol.

i just ested this for the first time.. and it bursted at 20 psi but went 69.4yards!

Nice cannon, looks great, but are those galvanized steel fittings or pvc?
It's hard to soar with eagles when you're working with turkeys.

Nice. I see it works a lot like the MBDC. Probably more power though, due to the wider bore and larger porting.

Looks pretty good. What do you use for disks?

alumnum foil, plastic bags, those laminated covers for paper and plastic wrap is what i use for disk
