Ragnarok, I stand corrected…
Where the heck did you find that??? So my original guess of 1 in 18 wasn’t that for off!!!
For those interested in barrels I will use this new formula rather than the old Greenhill so your barrel should be accurate.
Thanks Ragnarok.

Sniper2006, I’ll sell you the plans, oh say, $50.00U.S. :)
As for selling .25cal and .31cal barrels, id’ have to find the tubing but I suspect that I might be able to do it, no guarantees I’ll have to give it a try first.

Sjog, don’t know ‘bout golf balls, but marbles and tatter slugs would take to the rifling fine, you’ll have to use wadding with marbles, a couple of layers of paper towel should work fine.

Daberno123, for taters I’ll use extra wide and deep groves to help prevent that.

ShowNoMercy and a lot of others, for most projectiles, such as marbles, ice slugs, homemade “bullets”, lead balls and sinkers, BBs, etc. you’ll need to wad them with either paper or cloth so that thay'll bite the rifling.

In answer to your PM, the density of PBs is around 1.25 g/cm^3. I have no idea where the 20.65 comes from.

As for where I found it, I sort of half know the Greenhill formula, but I went and did a Google of it because I wasn't that sure.
Hopefully you'll find you'll get better results from it.
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?

As I said before the bullet, being soft lead, conforms into the rifling and in doing so spins. No need for wadding.

Yeah, way do you think I’m trying to sell barrels? It’s either that or the China...er…Wall-Mart. :)

Hey! I resent that! Haha, naw, I'm only 14, so my only sources of income are babysitting and mowing lawns.
