these are the plans i was talking about.
Other than the sprinkler valve being way too small for the barrel size (you need a 2" sprinkler at the least for a TB barrel), the plans look sound, other than the fact that they didn't mention the pipe needs to be pressure rated.

You would definitely need a larger valve. I use a .75" QEV on my tennis ball gun, and the power isn't really all that great 
Also, you might not be able to find 2.5" pipe in the same section of the hardware store that normal PVC pipe is, you might need to use that gray electrical conduit. (at least that's the way it is around where I live, but the stores around where I live don't have any of the parts I need...)
