Metal Storm

I read about a weapon with a rate of fire of 1 million rounds/minute. Not just bullets but 40 cal grenades. No moving parts whatsoever, the ammo is stacked in the barrel and fired with electronic pulses. It's full name is the Metal Storm Area Denial Weapons System. I believe it was made in Australia and they're working on a pistol version. This site has some cool videos.

I tried to build one in my search for small uzi type full auto mg with a large recoil but it all blow up.We are not supprised are we?

Yeh those people runied it for us and the hand gun has all these safety features like finger/hand scanning so it can only be used by one person.WOOOO go aussies!!i think it was made in brisbane!thats like 3 hours from here!!i feel special...

yea that gun is crazy...the way the built it is brilliant. on the discovery channel show they do have a metal storm pistol, with 4 barrels, that will fire three bullets before you feel the recoil

yeah .. i saw that on the discovery channel ... the loading chamber and the barrel were all one peice and some thing like that .. so awesome ... i'd like to have one of those with me in a battle or something

every single round, at the rate they are fired can hit almost exactly the same spot because by the time the gun recoils, the bullets have left the chamber, every one of them.

here is a metal storm 16 pod grenade launcher, tank column = byebye with a few sentries of these.

I saw the special on it, it was insane... they simulated a tank column rolling up on a few of them.



This next one is a metal storm site gun firing... just imagine the damage that can be inflicted upon a group of soldiers trying to sneak by, or if someone is inside a house, but it is too dangerous for explosives, this baby can jackhammer through the wall in a matter of seconds tops.



This next one is a jet equipped with 4 pods that hold metal storm weapons, flys over the target and spews grenades or napalm or whatever your mind can come up with.



a 40mm badass treaded grenade spewing, enemy destroying robo storm.





An remote control attack chopper fitted with 2 metal storm guns for hit and run without risking a soldiers life.
