this is my marble gun :D
it use a sprinkler valve
the piping for the chamber is 28mm
the barrel is 16mm (marble)
I haven't shoot with it but I did some tests and the pilot valve starts leaking at 6 bar :(
I need to get a better one
I hope my chamber is big enough to do 2 shots if I put 14 bar on it
more specs are soon to come

Yes, the add of the elbow will help with the looks and ease in handleing. The leaking mite be due to limitations of the pilot valve. What is the pressure rating on it?

All in all, nice cannon.

The problem with that mite be when you remove the cap it may cause a miss fire. Know what I mean?

Nice gun mate. The problem is the blowgun you're using. They aren't meant to be used flipped around in that fashion. The Poppet valve in the blowgun when it's hooked up properly, uses the pressure behind it to push and make a seal firm against the blowgun lip. If the blowgun is flipped around, the poppet valve is only as strong as the spring behind it so it will leak at a cirtain point. The pressure will be too much for the poppet valve spring so just like a pop off pressure release valve, it'll give way eventually. At 30psi for example.

The solution is very simple. You need the inline style of blowgun that can be bought for a few bucks. I hope this helps mate

Or you could flip the blowgun over like so...

<a href="http://s164.photobucket.com/albums/u5/W ... die1-1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u5/W ... die1-1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Sorry about the small pic.

Yeah thats another idea aswell. 2nd Option is to just run a bit of hose from the bottom of the gun to the valve. There shouldn't be a great deal of pilot area.

You could always attach an air hose between the sprinkler and the air gun. Then you could orient it any direction and in any place on the gun.
