building some kind of motor vehicle

i have a 2 horse power lawnmower engine and i want to build something that i can drive. i am open to any suggestions. i was hoping a bike with a lawn mower engine or some kind of little pocket bike.

Try and build a pocket quad or a small go cart.

If its a vertical shaft there isnt much you can do with it. Im trying to think of something to do with my vertical shaft engine and the only thing I can find is to make a generator like this http://theepicenter.com/tow082099.html

Find any old rideing mower with a seprate transmission, they most allways have a vertical input and horizontal output + you get 3 forward speeds and reverse. Just put a slightly bigger pulley on the engine to get more sp8eed, the transmission can handle it. I once had a old Montgumary Wards rideing mower and used a bigger drive belt on the deck drive pulley to run the transmission, i bet it ran at least 20mph in third, had to leave the clutch out, (was not in line with the new set up), and just banged the gears. It was rough takeing off and hard to get into 2nd without going into reverse but i got the hang of it.
