Well, to fit your current design i would say a coaxial piston. I know youve made one before so it should be easy for you. Just my opinion anyway.

I would say a piston valve or a easy to make hammer valve (not inline).
You can tell how awesome a cannon is by the pressure used.

How did you get rifled brakeline?

I'd say make it a cloud. I've been day-dreaming of converting a Red Ryder to one (Because they're $25 near me) and I think it would be cool.
I was thinking maybe 88 gram C02 cart.s to keep it compact somehow.

Or piston valve, breech loaded. 8)

what calibre is this gun?

and i reccomend a 1/4 inch QEV for your valve and pressurizing the thing to 400-500 PSI with a shock pump or fridge compressor..........

the barrel in the pics is .177 but i have a .22 barrel too.

also im thinking about only going too 400 psi cause it needs to be quiet enough that it doesnt wake up my neighoors.

if you do it right, you can make the chamber the perfect size so that the pressure in the barrell upon projectile exit is close to zero :D

just use GGDT.

Detachable silencer/suppressor.
It would be a waste of the power to make the chamber so small that it doesn't make noise.
Till the day I'm dieing, I'll keep them spuddies flying, 'cause I can!
