I am looking at making a pneumatic gun. I just wanted to know are there any other designs like the links below that I could have a look at to give me a few ideas on how I should build mine.

The thing to do now is incorparate your own knowlage/skills into the designs that you have studied.

Suggestion, draw your idea on paper and upload it, do it in MSpaint or other program of the like. Run it by us and get ready for the reply opinions/suggestions/likes/dislikes of your design.

That is the best way to get help here at Spudfiles.

Remember, you may also want to take a look at this before you build, it may save your life. I had to retire my first cannon because of DWV.
Completed projects:
CA1 SMSS Basic Inline
CA3 PDAB Airburst Cannon

Current Project: Bolt action rifle (25x140mm + 1in shot)

You might also want to take a look at this design. Your launcher can end up looking like an actual rifle if you put some thought (and a few extra pieces of PVC) into the design.

My version, minus the breech loading but with a nicer trigger mount and a trigger guard (always a good idea). Easy enough to mod the valve but you would lose the nice trigger setup.

I used a tethered control stick on the CA3, a piece of 1 1/4" with an SPST safety switch and a momentary pushbutton.

Cheers for the replies!

Just a quick question.

Because I am going to be using a sprinkler valve, which sprinkler valves are the go and why and which ones should I steer clear of and why?

Any inline sprinkler valve works pretty well. Most people around here use the Orbit WaterMaster in 3/4" or 1". I'm a fan of 1" Rainbird sprinkler valves.
