I feel the need to build a new spudgun. I've gotten rid of quite a couple of my old ones, including the Patriot Resurrection. Dissappointing since it was a great gun.

I need an idea for a new gun. NOthing too outlandish, since I need to devote time to school. But I am up for ideas. I'd appreciate it if you guys helped me out. I may still have the knowledge behind em, but just no creativity.

There have been a lot of guns lately that have been modeled after real world weapons, such as bazookas and mortars. You ought to do one of those! BTW, welcome back! :D

did you build combustions or pneumatics? just build the other kind now  maybe try something different, at the moment there seems to be alot of replica spudguns based of rocked launchers etc. a while ago there were lots of copper piston cannons.... and there was a phase of BTB sawn-off guns.... Break the mould! (although there isn't really much variation in combustions)

(i was going to make a copper piston cannon... then i thought... why not make a coax just to be different! and then BlackH posted his copper coax before i have finished mine LOL)

I'm kinda feelin' that too, except I have like $10.
I'll probably just use my giant box of random PVC fittings along with some other cannibalized guns to make something new. Well, that's if I feel inclined to get off my lazy ass and do something...

I would suggest making something with my BDC design as those are cheap and easy to build.

Oh G.D. I thought I could get away from you at Spudfiles! I see enough of you on Theopia, so help yourself...

And a slightly more serious reply:

I would suggest an over-under combustion with a large 4-6" diameter chamber, with a 3" SCH-80 pop-bottle barrel. Of course, an Ozark Trails fan mounted with a switch rigged to it from the outside, either electronic or a small piezoelectronic ignition system, and breech loading.
