Sprinkler + schraeder?

I am really wondering how some peoples are able to put a schraeder valve under a sprinkler valve???

I tried and it did not worked: the valve would not want to close( i scraped 30 canadians dollars).

So plz say me how they/you did !!!

I have done it and had no problems.
The area under the diaphragm is actually part of the chamber.

In my its a part of the air exit!

(its an 1inch water watermaster)

I use the same valve (the 1 inch watermaster) and the space under the diaphragm is the exhaust part, not the chamber. I guess frank must have a different valve. I ended up just using a threaded schrader (look on mcmaster-carr) and screwing it into the side. That worked.

You should be very careful if the room you are tapping it in is belonging to either the chamber or the barrel volume.

Screwed it up? Seal the hole with epoxy.
