Cheap schraeder valve

I just try to put a 6mm cooper pipe in a bike pump adaptator and it fit perfectly!

When a press the lever, it lock in place but if i start to pump to fill any low-pressure device(such as water rocket or confetti shooter) will it goes off because it dont have threads like the normal schraeder valve?
I will never go past 80 psi.

It would be the cheapest way to fill any cheap pneumatic spudgun or very low mix hybrid...(with a ball valve safety DUH!)

Did anybody already tryed it?
will it work?

well i actually use the gas valves on micro butane torches because i get them for free behind a bernzomatic warehouse. wouldnt be of much use for a large cannon but they are perfect for penguns. umm other than that i dont think there is anything cheaper than a schrader valve. unlees you dont live in france you could get a presta valve.

Are you asking if the fill valve will pop off of the shrader valve if you try it that way?

Are you asking how to stop it from blowing off when you pump the air in?

Maybe there is something special with the schreader valve who will lock it in the adaptator... and not with a 6mm cooper pipe...

Most "fill valves" have a locking mechanism built into them. Push it on and flip down a lever and it's locked on. I don't think a straight piece of pipe will stay on.

Well if your going to use a ball valve as safety it will end up being about the same price as a regular schrader valve, so you should go ahead and buy a shrader valve.

Are you trying to fill both water and air at the same time?

the locking mech that you are referring to, in many cases, is just some rubber that clamps down on the threads, nothing actually that mechanical. I say just don't stick your face behind it at any time, and give it a good pressure test, to see when it will blow off. Try roughing up the end of the pipe, to see if you can give the nozzle thing a better grip.
