and i don't know if i should use a standard grill igniter or a electric grill igniter? i would also like to make a spark strip, but i don't know how or if it would even work?

that's all the questions for now thanks for reading and helping me.

ok people i have a new question......
am going to use a electric BBQ ignitor and i spark plug. first do you think it can work?? and am planing on having it on the elbow before the barrel.

A spark strip can be just any closely placed strips of conductive metal so that multiple sparks arc across them as they travel from anode to cathode. A cheapo one can be made by sticking a CD in the microwave for a couple seconds :D

As for the fan...it can be any size you want really, as long as it fits in the chamber, just depends on what's available. I think 80mm would be too big, that just barely crams into my 4" one.

I prefer electric grill igniters because the "is it sparking?" factor all but dissapears, however a standard piezo sparker is cheaper and performs just as well.
