Barrel idea, airsoft shotgun/ whatever fits.

I was wondering how airsoft grenades worked. I was curious as to how they actually hold the bbs in the grenade without them rolling out of the front. I was considering designing a barrel that could fire airsoft pellets like a burst disk type thing. The barrel would have a coupler as a breech loading style thing i guess that would slider over the area that the cartridge goes in , and then somehow lock into place, i have an idea for this but not completed yet. Inside the barrel would then be 2 stoppers one on the bottom and one on the top of the holding area for the cartridge, this would allow for the pressure behind the cartridge to force the pellets through the film used for the birst disk, and then out of the barrel instead of the entire cartridge flying out. Here are some pictures of my idea. By the way the thing on the cartridge that is blue is a rubberband or whatever i decide to use to hold the film on if i decide to make it. This could also be used for anything you could basically fit in the cartridge snugly i imagine. Tell me what you think.
