A chunk of carboard and some alluminum foil shoudl work, just glue the foil to the cardboard and leave gaps in it.

I wouldn't use cardboard in a combustion... I don't think it'd be a problem, but eventually it'd fall apart.

The best way is to buy some bulk copper-clad circut board (I got a huge 3 foot by 3 foot sheet at a surplus store for $6) and etch gaps in it with a file or dremel. One of those won't fall apart after a few thousand combustions.

Alternatively, you could use any kind of sheet metal glued to something non-conductive.

What's your spark source?

Peace,
Pete Zaria.

take a small pipe or a stick of wood, drill holes in it, and use wing nuts as electrobes, this way, all the gaps are individually adjustable.

can you just drill like 6 screws into the chamber like 1/2 apart then hook a wire to each end screw? As long as you cover the screws with something on the outside so you dont touch them??

The elctricity would just go through the bolt. Put some washers or something on a wooden dowel. He did ask for an EASY way.

You might check out this pen from radioshack it has conductive ink so you can draw your own circuits. I've never used it but it might just work for making spark strips.
