I agree with the camlock setup. I use it to great effect on my cannon. I actually separate the combustion chamber several inches from the back to allow the barrel to extend 6 inches or so out of the breach. With this setup the spud doughnut left after cutting doesn't have to be fished out of the chamber. I can post pics if desired.
