Cannons powered by pneumatic pressure (compressed gas) using a valve or other release.

Interesting use of a camlock on your chamber there. I actually see some danger this setup. If you were to inadvertantly pop the camlock loose while the chamber is charged you could easily hurt or kill someone from the flying chamber or compressed air blast.

I would much rather see you use a screw adapter there and move the camlock up to the barrel.

Seriously.... :shock: you should consider this....

I was a bit surprised at just how secure the cam-locks are. A scenario like you described did occure to me, but they do have a positive safety button on each of the arms that actuate the locking cams, so the possibility of one popping loose is quite slim. For a bit of added safety, the cam-lock female portion(w/ the arms and safety buttons) is oriented so that the buttons point towards the barrel so they're harder to accidentally hit. I do think I'm going to have the barrels screw-mounted, just for cost-effectiveness, as the cam-locks are quite pricey.

the pin lock camlocs are definitely sweet, that's what i use on my modular gun, but pricey they are... But they make up for it in safety and cool points... :D

Yeah the safety pin models should probably offer you a higher level of safety. However, if you keep it, you may want to limit your psi some.

Well, it's just about done. All I need now is a length of 3/8" hose to connect the sprinkler valve to the blowgun. I'm gonna move over to the pneumatic showcase, as it seems there's no more room for attachments in this thread.

Oh, Pizlo, any idea where in the Rochester area a fellow can test one of these things w/out arousing the attention of the powers that be?
