Hey guys,
What is the smallest size that i would be able to make the chamber, so it can hold 120psi. Is there a formula or something i could use. i have a 16mm barrel that is 600mm long with 1inch modded sprinkler valve and 1inch tubing every where else. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Chamber size
So your asking whhttp://www.thehalls-in-bfe.com/GGDT/at C:B ratio to use? well use gas gun design tool:

Any size of chamber can hold any amount of pressure.

I meant that a chamber can't be too small or too big to be able to be filled to a certain pressure. And I'm pretty sure there is some kind of 5" pipe that can hold 750 psi.

NO, that's not it at all!
You asked:
The chamber size has everything to do with how powerful the gun will be. The smaller the chamber, the less energy it contains, the less powerful your gun will be.
smaller chamber @ 100psi = less powerful
larger chamber @ 100psi = more powerful
You asked:
The answer is that chamber size has little if not nothing to do with how much pressure it can hold! What is the smallest size that i would be able to make the chamber, so it can hold 120psi.

Is your Google.com Broken?!
No chamber is the smallest you can go to....
My mini paintball gun pneumatic had a 4" chamber and it shot 320 fps fine...
The length of the chamber isn't relevent with the pressure it can hold...
If the pipe is pressure rated to 480psi (1" pipe) it will hold 480 psi if it's .5" of 200 inches....
But if your using a sprinkler valve don't fill your gun over 120 psi, because they aren't rated for anything much higher than that....
I hope I helped, the other guys were giving some pretty un-helpful answers

What valve would you use at high preasure.
I just made a mini paint ball gun with a ball valve and a 2" chamber and 1" chamber-valve pipe. What psi should i limit that to?
