what do you want to shoot i wouldn't want to waste the maulers porting so i would go at least 2 inch barrel and some of that 3" sch 80 for the chamber maybe make it in a style similar to this http://www.spudfiles.com/uploader/uploa ... kevin1.JPG ironically from the same guy who made your valve lol

Look around the showcase, different people have different tastes in what looks good to them.

As far as tips go;

Take into account portability

What kind of flow does your compressor get?

Would you rather have a small tank and high pressure or larger tank lower pressure?

Make sure not to restrict airflow before the valve.

Since it's a mauler I don't think you should have a barrel diameter under 2 inches.

I prefer a variety of screw on barrels. It's a waste of a mauler to not have at least a golf ball barrel. :D My golf ball barrel slides into the 2 inch barrel for support.

Oh I love your multitude of barrels tech :) May I ask how you did the gradient looking paintjob on the barrel left of the right tank?

Sure. Spray paint. Used orange, red, cherry red, and two shades of blue. I rolled the pipe to paint around it and then switched colors lightly overspraying the prior wet coat just enough to not have a light or dark transition in color.

The bummer is we modeled the 2.5 inch barrel as the best performer in GGDT so I painted it to look pro, then in testing the 3 inch black abs with the grey tip (totaly screwed chrome paint job) performed the best. I should have clocked them all before doing a nice paint job. I lettered it Cheap seat Shots since we were aiming for the cheap seats.

The blue 3 inch next to the yellow launcher is the one they used in the competition. They painted it, put in the muzzle brake holes, and added vinyl graphics that looked very sharp.

They went a little shorter than the most efficient length for ease of handling. They came up with the support strap and breech loader shown in the video. Since most of the acceleration is in the first third of an optimum barrel, they lost little performance cutting off almost 2 feet from ideal. For best distance, it would have been the length of the grey tip black barrel with the blue and red trim. They did a fantastic job.

The shorter barrel was louder.. Which everyone liked.. :D

What is that exactly? Shotguns are defined by what they fire.
