New and simple idea for semi-auto reloading? Gravity include

Cannons powered by pneumatic pressure (compressed gas) using a valve or other release.

I don't know if reloading for a semi-auto has been a problem, but here is my idea. The picture will be able to explain better than I can in words. I'm sorry if this an idea already discussed but I was bored one day and was sketching stuff for a new cannon. The concept involves gravity and physically turning the barrel to do a 360 degrees. I don't have the resources right now to make it until I get back to school (We have a CNC there :D). I would like your input/opinion on this as I know there has to be a flaw somewhere. Nothing I invent/design ever goes to plan.

On another topic, could someone link to me a way to make a multi-shot pneumatic cannon that doesn't require pistons or metal pipes. I have searched around and all I see is the use of pistons I believe. (Sorry, I'm still a novice yet I'm on my 3rd pneumatic)

It's been thought of before. The tricky part is getting it to rotate fast enough to allow semi auto firing without any jams.

Noname is correct.

And no, you didn't search. Please go and search, because I can think of several instantly.

I had tried it for auto, with just the breech rotating instead of the whole barrel - epic fail  :D

I personally think that the search function is impossible to use.

The quick search is next to useless unless you're looking for something extremely specific, but the ImageAdvanced Search is an extremely useful tool once you learn to narrow things down.

Something like this is a bit harder to search for to be honest. I mean it's a breech loader, which there are hundreds of on this website. It's not like there's a name for this specific design, although a few words could be used to narrow it down.

If it was the old 'ball valve breech loader' design I would've agreed with you telling him to search harder next time.
