Today i went down ace and scouted out potential barrels. I found an almost perfect match, 1/2" SDR 13.5 PVC. It is thin walled but it is NSF-PW and rated at 315 psi. Although schedule 80 3/4" would have been better I believe it will still be safe. I made a true bolt system using the 1/2" pvc and 1/2" CPVC. At 60 psi GGDT predicts a paintball going 500 fps, which is fast enough for me, and a safe operating pressure IMO. However, I may wrap the barrel in duct tape or electrical tape to prevent any nicks that could weaken the PVC.

nice, sleek design. your breech loader is neat. What do you pressurize it to?

Thanks! Anywhere between 45 to 80 psi is the norm.

This reminds me of my old "sniper like" cannon before it fell off of a 8' tall shelf into concrete and smashed into pieces every where :( thanks for making me want to cry lol
