ok im heading down to the store in a little bit i need pay cellphone bill and pick up some poxy for my skimboard
i wanted to know what kind poxy i should buy.....but my main question would be could i use the left over's to make me a new piston for my cannon

the one i have now is from hot glue
is poxy better than hot glue?

JSR uses marine epoxy with great results (although I think he may be at least 13% epoxy himself). He's also made a couple of how-to threads on casting epoxy pistons.

He also just cast a 2.5" epoxy piston, his biggest yet, but sadly sealed it off neglecting to take a photo beforehard

ok thanks guys i got some marine stuff it in a tube thing not cheap it was like 6 somthing for the little tube o well now i can fix all the holes and dents i got and will get and make a piston

Not trying to be mean, but I am curious as to why you would ask that question, seeing as how the topic is based around you casting an epoxy piston.

Anyway, I would personally cast an epoxy piston ONLY if you are comfortable enough to use the epoxy for casting purposes. In other words, practice. Read over the how-tos thoroughly and practice. Then, when you feel comfortable, begin casting.
