Then go for it.No diagram of mine would be useful though.I was thinking, instead of a hammer, using a solid steel rod, attacked to a spring, so instead of having the hammer move through an arc and strike the valve, it will move in a straight line and strike the valve. I want to do it this way because i want the hammer mechanism to fit inside my stock, as well as be cocked using a horizontal pull, like modern day rifles.
