hello every body, i am french and if Mr le capitaine can come talk french to me i will feel very better.

its ok, my question for ignition is : about the spark, i read before in here it's must be 2 mm or less with piezzo BBK, what about tazer ?

about the mix what the proportion of gas butane and air, what the percent and pressure ? for the basic mix like 2x.

thank you, i go to eat with my wife and i come back

The forum is slow moving at times, la patience est une vertu! ;)

I would imagine that since the tazer spark is more energetic you can have it at a wider gap than if you were using a piezo.

As to mixes, a 2x mix would be 8% butane pressurised to 15 psi

3x - 12% butane @ 30 psi

4x - 16% butane @ 45 psi

5x - 20% butane @ 60 psi

and so on...

thank you man your answer is clear like i want, i look long time on the web for this but i saw nothing.

i have one more question: about the burst disk

there is another way to make this ?
i mine like piston but i don't understand i don't know about the principle of this systeme, how its work ? i need some explanation .

ps: ''la patience est une vertu'' . In english how to write it ?

Unfortunately if English is not your native language it may hinder your searching.

This diagram should be clear enough. The spring keeps the piston shut and the barrel sealed under the mix pressure, but when you ignite it the pressure created is too strong and it pushes the piston back, letting the gasses escape through the barrel.

Very similar, "patience is a virtue"

yes you speak allright, there is not much thing about this in french language but its ok i have you now :)

about the piston you don't think is reaLLY better than burst disk ? why i listen only about the burst disk !! lool

i thinking now how to do for measure 20% butane inside chamber ? loool

The piston isn't really "better" than a burst disk in terms of performance, but it's easier to use because you don't have to replace the disk for every shot.

Easy ;)

yes easy.... :?

the time needed to measure butane, change burst disk, the boar have time to go find girlfriend.

measure gaz like this and inject insibe chamber and pressurize the chamber ?

i see some video they do measure gaz and air with a manometer .

i mine if you want the gaz reserve directly conect to the chamber, you can't do this method !

Yes, 8% of the total chamber volume. For example if your chamber volume is 500mL, then the amount of butane you have to inject is 40mL.
