Yes, however dimensions of 3/4" sch 160 pipe will be the same for steel, stainless steel, or aluminum.

I doubt there is such a thing as sch 160 PVC, but I will say this: If you ever see a post from me that suggests a building material you can safely assume I am NOT talking about PVC. The use of PVC pipe is the one aspect of this website that I can never endorse.

A 16ga shotgun shell will fit 3/4" Copper Type M with minimal trimming of .815" OD for ring. 3/4" Type M is .811" ID nom.

When these barrels are tapered how can they be gaged by "sch"? The breech's are all ways (to my knowledge) thicker then the muzzle's.

Shotgun barrels are tapered at the breech and the muzzle (OK, the muzzle isn't always tapered, but usually it is). In the "middle" of the barrel, they are cylindrical. That's the nominal dimension.
