I've just finished making my cannon. But im having trouble.
My design works, i tried it twice.
The spark jumps between the nails.
But then it doesnt spark anymore. Only every now and again.
Could it be that im using butane and its freezing up the stuff on the igniter an nails?
I cannot figure it out.
I havnt been using the gas filler just screwing off the top of the cannon, spray the butane in.
Need help. (NOOB Spudder)

There is a gap distance that has to be maintained. Look at the brand of ignitor you have, the paper work that came with it will tell you the max distance the gap can/should be. Ad fuel to it and that max gets smaller.
Count the seconds your fueling and use that count every time, after you get a shot off that is. Adjusting the gap will probly be the key...

the problem with spray & prays is the inconsistency of it all and people get this problem all the time as a matter a guy just had this same problem just last weak. i just don't get y people just don't build a simple fuel meter i mean it's better to have a spud gun that works then one that doesn't work at all. and welcome to spud files

some day spudfiles is going to take over the world.
