My first cannon. Looking for any tips for improvement.

Cannons powered by pneumatic pressure (compressed gas) using a valve or other release.

Have a look at Hubb's 2" piston valve how-to, since you managed to put together the subject of this thread it should be a piece of cake (sorry...) to put a piston valved launcher togther, and you can use the 1" sprinkler as a pilot :)

Okay, I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking at a diagram of...

That's just the piston, right?

So then this would go inside of a 2" or so tee joint, or am I totally off?

Also: because I haven't mentioned it yet. I named the launcher CAKE because I knew I wanted an acronym name for it, and because I'm such a Portal nut, I couldn't resist calling it "CAKE" for "Compressed Air Kinetic Emancipator"

That is just the piston. I have a how to posted in the How-To Database to make smaller pistons for smaller launchers.

I had to stop myself from saying your launcher was a LIE!

:D

Speaking of which, you'll probably appreciate this work in progress ;)

Alrighty!

Thanks you guys! This thread quickly jumped from noting that my chamber was not pressure rated to teaching me about C:B ratios and valves. I really appreciate it, and feel very welcomed.
