This would be simpler to make and fly straighter:

Here is the finished product
a smaller version of the real one(6mm not 8mm), a bit longer than the original design. mass concentrated in the front. Going to test it with the best air gun I have(the most accurate and has enough power to have a long range in this case 100m with normal air gun pellets) this weekend. Then i will make the real pellet of 8mm

Sectional density. Want more sectional density in the front half. The way I understand it is if you decrease the inertia and increase the drag on one end, it's a lot easier for the projectile to pivot on its center of mass so the tail points back.
I may not even bother making the first one... but that's up to you. It'll certainly look awesome if you can make a design like that work.

agreed. I will improve the design and take out some section density of the back. @JSR I did have in mind some similar ideas as that pellet when i designed itsaefroch wrote:Sectional density. Just a heads up for those who really value accuracy and don't mind spending $100 on a barrel, these come in 2 foot lengths, in every established airgun calibre, with the choice of standard or polygonal rifling.

Crosman barrels are still a better deal at $25. When carefully prepped, they deliver.
