Metal barrel sealing tee design
I have switched back to the one way valve and decided I will fill from the chamber side. However, I don't want to build a hammer mechanism because I don't have the tools, skills and materials to to so. I have come up with a bolt mechanism which will trigger the one way valve but I am unsure how to build it. It is quite simple.

That is a great idea.
I think it could work even semi-automatically, because the bolt will hit the one way valve and open it, then the refilling CO2 will slam back the one way valve.

If it was a closed bolt then the air escaping from the one way valve would get the bolt back into position for the next shot. You would need a strong spring to coap(?) with rapid filling from the chamber side.

I have new udates to post. First I have add a fill valve to the chamber side, second I have made a bolt hammer system to slam into the one way valve and open the diphram. I still have to make the trigger for the bolt but am not sure how, ideas are appreciated.

On the last pic, that hole is how you are going to lock the bolt back? And then have a triggering thing? Do you all ready have a spring in the back of the bolt? And what you could do is plumb in the ram in your air tank and then have a pushbutton valves in the air lines so that it would retract itself. Threre is a pic. Sorry if I am not talking right i have been up for all most 20 hours lol

This design of bolt that I built is a bit too flimsy, do you have any ideas similar to this one that will be very tough? Your design is a bit too complex(yes it is simple) but I need to make something simple and affective.

After staring at my screen for about 20 mins I dint come up with anything. I have ideas but they to mount them will be a bitch. Do you want it to look good too? Because what you could do is take some 1/8 or 1/16 sheetmetal and weld it to the copper and then mount everything on that. And then cover the sides of it with a matching pieses. If I come up with something ill tell ya.

That is good but I don't think I will keep the one way valve. At 200 psi I don't think you will be able to trigger it. I have to think of an other exhaust valve.
I am adding o rings to the piston for better preformace.

I think he ment how do you pay for it. Back to the ram idea(there are $5) You could have it were the bolt is. And then have it triggered with a 1/2 QEV if they make them that small.

That ram has 300lbs of push! and the max air limit is 250PSI. I wouls use that to repolace the bolt.
On page 406 of McMaster there is the valves, the one on top, norm closed and not the mushroom style. That is what will trigger the ram.

I would like to make it as simple as possible. But at the same time I want it to be fancy. The pneumatic ram idea is good. I will experiment with exhaust valves after I get my 20 oz paintball tank and regulator set up. I don't like the one way valve too much. It is a 1/2 inch so I am sure I can replace it.

well where I live copper parts are very expensive, for a 1inch to 1/2 inch reducer threaded it's $9.50AUSD, you always seem to be changing your design and buying more and more parts for your gun. it just comes across that you have lots of money.
