For all those planning to make this gun beware that the 3-way valve acts like a release trigger, meaning that it wont fire when the trigger in pulled only when you release it, it will fire.

im no expert but i don't think so, its normally open so its two threaded port flow constantly and when you pull the trigger it vents the pilot though the small hole. but even if it does not like your going to hold the button all day you pull and let go within 2 secs.

Go to mitre 10 they have more of a range of plumbing fitting than bunnings :)

By the way im working on a new receiver for bbs since in Adelaide bbs are really easy to get and not that much as splat balls

Sorry but I forgot to say I have shot this gun, being a freind of loveableairguns.

Ill explain it more simply, when you pull the trigger it doesnt shoot but when you release it, it fires.

that's a normally closed valve

when you press the button it fills the chamber when you realease it it fires the gun

It can be annoying but if you design a spring returned trigger that will keep it pressed in when the gun trigger is in 'not pulled' state you can get it to function the way you want
