To get a good seal, get o rings that are just large enough to touch the inside of your pipe all the way around without stretching.

Thanks for adding that Tech, I never go by actual size of the o-ring, I just try the different ones and try to find the best fit.

Thanks a bunch, I will see what I come up with. I read in another thread that i think you posted about epoxying the nuts for no air leaks. would lock nuts stop the air flow or no?

No, it can get around the threads. I would epoxy behind the metal washer behind the sealing face.

Actually, I used teflon tape on the threads and it sealed perfectly. No need to make things permanent.

Ehem, where the side of the nut touches the side of the washer, it's not air tight.

But where the Front nut touches the sealing face, it actually is. Besides, A small circle of gasket rubber would fix that as well. I guess I got lucky because my bolt/washer piston doesn't leak at all anymore. I got a good seal and it fires consistently.

Epoxy would not make it permanent, a little elbow grease would get the nut off if needed, however it would be airtight.

Wrong again, the front nut doesn't touch the sealing face.

I can make a 2D/3D CAD drawing for you if you would like.

If you want it, we can discuss some dimensions on PM. Let me know.

It can also be posted in the Sketchup Model library.

Here are some "unprimitive" plans of Gun Freak's nut and washer piston.

Any problems let me know Gun Freak.
