you can go higher then 100 psi with pvc as long as everything is pressure rated

Not bad, I like how you put it together.

I concur that the chamber deserves to be a bit stronger, a ball valve can take a lot of pressure so if you replace that bottle with something a little higher spec, you can easily go to 250 psi or so with a good stirrup pump and really see the difference.

Hope you're using wadding ;)

hello to all, my problem is that i can only find 100 psig pvc rated where i live :( ...
there is some pvc for hot water rated 300psig but it is much more expensive... i m afraid to use more pressure in this setup.. but i would like to buid a metal setup, but its hard to find metal parts here... i realy want to go 500 psi.. hehhe, i have to buy metal parts from another city, when i do this i ll post!! :D but for now im in the safety limit... the ball valve slow... im building a qev... what do you think for the reload? blow faward or blow backward? (considerind dead space, direction change of flow...)

Go for higher pressure, you will be impressed. Also a good spring loaded ball valve is a pretty fast valve, if done well it can keep up with a QEV.

Wadding - something to block the space between the barrel and the bullet, so you will not lose power because air leaks through this space.

The same way they use patches for muzzle loaders.
