Yeah. Pretty much. That part may have to be cnc made, I dunno. But the rest should be able to be made on a lathe.

Or if you are good with a pillar drill and a hole saw you could try like that. Hmm, you're making me want to make one now...

Ok, I got the budget from the team, $500. Full metal body, at a minimum 25 rpm (easy to do...) and under 100 pounds. I think the blow forward bolt should provide enough power. I just don't know about the belt.

Do they have an air source for the bolt? I'm guessing they're going to want to be able to move it about somehow, I wouldn't want to be lugging around an air compressor, just a thought.

Co2 with a regulator. Easy to obtain.

Well, belt fed is no longer an issue, its going to be either a gravity mag, or a spring loaded mag. The captain decided it was easier, and he decided to go with ammo that was in a sabot because it was easier to adjust the amount of bb's that get shot out.

What do you mean ammo in a sabot? You mean you're not using the gas shells any more?

Nope, not until they get a sponsor or something to supply them. So we are moving on to sabots.

Are you even allowed to use saboted rounds in airsoft? I'm pretty sure my local site doesn't let you fire anything but bbs. Are you in the USA? I know they take airsoft pretty seriously there (from what I've heard) it might be different.

Its gonna be cardboard sabots. Do you really think I would shoot metal or plastic sabots?

Pneumaticcannons, they decided to save those for the M32 grenade launcher.

actually, from experience, I would use molded FOAM sabots, they make biodegradable sabots, and are light, and VERY strong. Also, I have designs from a while ago for a mag fed 2" bazooka that seems to fit the description that was presented.. Would you like me to help? the maximum price would be 200$ or less.. PM me if you would.. It would have sight mounts, mags, and POWER, and a CO2 tank "holder."

That's a good idea evan. Alternatively you could use a captive piston, I think...
