First I wanted to use a blowgun stem, but it's too short, so I machined it out of a m4 screw.

Thats an awesome project you have there. Nice clean build. What sort of rifle will it resemble upon completion or are you have you designed something new?

Just need to add a barrel...

There is black stuff coming out of my quick connect... I think it's oil... Is that bad?

I assume you keep the fridgecompressor oiled up..
Both for lubrication and cooling..

So that's where the oil comes from.

LOL...The only dieseleffect I can be 100% sure about is my old fridgy dieseling at about 60 bar...

:D

Both PCP's are coming along nicely!
You guys just need to polish them...

Ok I was just wondering if it was supposed to spit oil out when I disconnect the air line

All I need is a barrel sleeve, I already have the tightbore barrel... :)

damn it's nice...
but don't you think you need a stronger spring?

I think it's oil... Is that bad
it's 100% normal... you can build a high pressure air filter that will stop almost all oil and also some water

Yup, sounds pretty weak... but still, very nice effort :)

From the pressure drop, the shots should be ok...
So you used a rotating hammer after all :D
Any idea about the stock?

Yep, rotating hammer FTW!!! :D but yes the spring is very weak so I'm adding another extention spring, a stronger one, in addition to this one. The sound is very deceiving though. It is pretty loud and it lets out a nice thump of air, but it will only open the valve enough at 300 psi. I want to use 400 psi, so I'm putting the extra spring.

Eventually I may get a higher psi gauge so I can use ~600 psi... But that's eventually. I'm not sure I trust soldered copper

For the stock... Probably something simple that I'll make from PVC, and I'll attach it using the machine screws sticking out of the handle.

Thanks for the input on the compressor, guys. One more question— when I use a pressurized input on my fridgy, it sounds like the input air fills a large volume. Is all that pressure going on the inside of the compressor shell?

most fridge compressors have pressure rating stamped/printed somewhere on them - that's exactly the reason why (because the case is normally exposed to pressure from te circuit)
most of those that I've seen are rated to ~20 bar so you should be fine with 40 or even 100 psi
