This is my newest diaphragm launcher. It's a version 2 of the other one I posted.

Specs. 2inch by 3 foot chamber.
5foot golf ball barrel.
1 1/2 inch diaphragm valve.
1/4 ball valve as pilot.
Quick connect as fill.

Goes through ply wood like foam. I'll have pictures of the gun up soon. Here's the videos of it. Before the paint job.

For a 1 1/2'' valve your should try a bigger pilot (1/2'' ball valve). Nice gun though.

Actually you could pilot though the quick connect instead...

OK I'm missing something, You can pilot it though a blowgun but not a ball valve? I'm sorry but that makes no sense.

Not going to make a difference what you use to pilot a pilot. The valve has a pilot built into it.

Matty is explaining it wrong. There is a limit to what you can pilot it with. The output from the pilot is 1/8'' NPT so going any bigger than a 1/8'' NPT ball valve will be ineffective and absolutely pointless. The blowgun is actually more than sufficient to pilot the relatively small pilot volume. A larger pilot valve only works to a point.
Sarcasm is the body's natural defense against stupid.

Yeah, but is the blowgun's actual valve have the the same amount of flow as an open 1/8 NPT thread? I doubt it.
