Here is a video of the cannon firing at 370 psi through a refrigerator today.

This shot went clear through the fridge and 8 inches deep into the dirt behind the refrigerator.

The kick is FREAKING VIOLENT at this pressure! It is painful to fire......

You can see the slug in the ground just above the fridge in the first picture.

We ended up blowing this thing full of holes. It was pretty much shredded by the time we were done.

I cannot even describe how hard the freakin thing kicks at 370 psi. It is insane! It is not possible to fire it and hold your ground. With every shot, every person who shot it, was blown back and had to take several steps to keep from falling backward, no matter how hard they leaned forward into the cannon.

:D

If the recoil was really a concern, you could sacrifice aim and hip fire it. With a decent stance, you could probably hold your ground if fired from the hip. How heavy is the cannon anyway?

Moonbogg wrote:$400.00 for that cannon is not a lot in my opinion. To me, it seems well worth it to have a 200psi spud gun and not have to worry as much about it breaking or failing. By the way, and I hope I didn't miss this, but how much does it weigh?
29 pounds :wink:

And yeah, for the reasons I stated, I think $400 can be acceptable for a cannon like that too.
I think you answered your own question a while ago!! :D :D

Hey Guys,

A little update;

I have begun firing at over 400 psi. That is 30 to 40 psi higher than previously. That may not sound like much of an increase, but I was getting used to it before and now it is way more powerful.

I fired at a target on top of a 4x4 post and it fired straight through the post.... :D

I have many shots through this thing without any problems what-so-ever. It is good having such a reliable cannon.
